Tank Tire® Overview and Development

Rust Rings and Damage To My Patio Led To The Creation Of The Ultimate Propane Tank Holder!
CEO of Nash Innovations, LLC. and developer of Tank Tire®, Timothy Nash, sits down in an interview to discuss how Tank Tire® was created.
Tank Tire® goes on easy and keeps your patio from getting rust rings, dents, chips and scratches.
What led to the creation of Tank Tire®?
How does it work?
  • I was getting rust rings, chips, dents and scratches on my patio and even scratching up my grill trying to install the propane tank.
  • I had my propane tank slip out of my hand and land on my foot.  It hurt to say the least.
  • I knew that if it hurt an adult foot, it just wasn't safe around children.
  • BBQ Grillers have expressed frustration with propane tanks leaving rust rings and ruining their patios.
  • Campers, RV Enthusiasts, Boaters & Tailgaters need a safe and clean way to store and transport their propane tanks.
  • RVers never had a product before that kept their propane tanks from vibrating and damaging their trailers.
  • Patio Heater users don't want their propane tanks to rust in the tank enclosure damaging the integrity of the tank enclosure.
  • Non-electrostatic discharge (static electricity) can create premature unintended ignition.
  • Gas stations all have signs warning about static electricity and we need to take the same precautions with our propane tanks.
  • Safety is always a concern
  • Tank Tire® is EXTREMELY easy to use.
  • Whether new, used or damaged, Tank Tire® will fit most 10, 11, 15, 20, 30 or 40 lb. propane tanks.
  • Align propane tank with Tank Tire® foot ring holder and slip it on.
  • For more damaged tank foot rings, it may require a little elbow grease to get the Tank Tire® to fit.
  • The Tank Tire® can fit inside of most enclosures while staying on the tank making it the most versatile product on the market.
  • If you think your Tank Tire® doesn't fit the tank, remove the Tank Tire® and try putting it on in multiple steps.
  • If your Tank Tire® just simply won't fit, chances are the foot ring of the tank is extremely damaged.  Take your tank to the nearest refiller and ask for a new one.  It is not recommended to use a propane tank with extreme damage to the foot ring or cylinder.
